Dear Parents and Students,
As most of you are aware the Victorian Government announced the reintroduction of Stage 3 restrictions in a number of suburbs yesterday. At this stage, whilst Broadmeadows and Glenroy have both returned to Stage 3 restrictions, we are able to continue to have both campuses open and staff and students are allowed to leave their homes to attend either work or school. I will let you know if this changes.
Over the school holiday period we have minimal staff onsite which makes it much safer for our staff members that are required onsite. The Accounts Office will close today for the remainder of the school holiday period. Parents are still able to make payments either online or by ringing the College to pay over the phone.
At this stage the Chief Medical Officer of Victoria, Brett Sutton, has said that there is no intention on returning to remote learning. I will provide you with further updates by the end of the holiday period which will allow us time to see whether the number of cases is declining and the potential impact of returning to school. For those on holidays continue to enjoy the break and stay safe.
Kind regards
Chris Caldow
Principal
