Penola Catholic College's Mathematics Program is designed to provide access to worthwhile and challenging mathematical learning in a way which takes into account the needs and aspirations of a wide range of students from Years 7-12.
It is also designed to promote students' awareness of the importance of mathematics in everyday life in an increasingly technological society, and confidence in making effective use of mathematical ideas, techniques and processes. Through learning mathematics, students will develop knowledge and skills in using mathematics for employment, further study and interest.
Years 7 - 10
Our Year 7 -10 Mathematics Program caters for a wide range of student abilities. We offer mainstream, enrichment, modified and foundation classes.
Our VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) Mathematics Program is designed to prepare students for tertiary courses, TAFE course and for employment.
