Penola Catholic College is a Restorative Practices School. Restorative Practices is an approach to the management of inappropriate behaviour. It is a way to achieve positive outcomes for students, teachers and the College community. Therefore, Restorative Practices in the school setting views inappropriate behaviour, not as school rule breaking but instead as being harmful to relationships within the school community.
Teaching at Penola Catholic College

All teaching staff employed at Penola Catholic College must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and must provide evidence of such registration upon commencement.

All support staff employed at Penola Catholic College are required to have a current Working With Children Check and National Police Records Check.

Penola Catholic College staff are currently employed under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Employer Agreement 2013. This Agreement includes employment terms and conditions, including salary scales, classifications, superannuation, leave and other entitlements.
