OHS Compliance Officer

We have a fantastic opportunity for an OHS Compliance Officer to join the Penola family for 12 months. This is a new position and is part time (0.8FTE).

As the OHS Compliance Officer you will be responsible for ensuring the College’s risk and compliance framework and mechanisms comply with current legal and regulatory obligations. Your work will also include administration, risk and compliance documentation and reporting across a range of key business areas. A key component of this role will be the administration of Complispace (compliance management system). You will also manage the College’s workcover claims and return to work coordination.

The OHS Compliance Officer is only required to work during school terms and will receive paid school holidays. The salary range (pro rata) is $53,150 to $60,224 (excluding superannuation) depending on experience.

To be successful you will possess specialist knowledge / qualifications / experience in compliance, OHS and workcover administration. The ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders is also paramount. A passion for OHS is a must. Previous experience in education is desirable but not essential.

EAL, Humanities and RE Teacher

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic English as an Additional Language (EAL), Humanities and Religious Education Teacher (Years 7 and 8) to join the Penola family from mid May 2019 until the end of the 2019 school year. This is a fixed term (leave replacement) full time position.

To be successful you be an engaging educator, with a passion for EAL, Humanities and Religious Education and a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks. You will also be registered with VIT and have accreditation to teach Religious Education.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 12 Psychology and Junior Science Teacher to join the Penola family for Term 2 2019. This is a part time (0.67FTE) fixed term position.

To be successful you will be an engaging educator, with a passion for Psychology and Science and a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks. You will also be registered or have the ability to be registered with VIT.
