College Facilities

St Joseph the Worker – Trade Skills Centre

The Trade Skills Centre is an addition to the existing Workshop building, rightly named the St. Joseph the Worker.

The new centre offers certificate II in different VET programs like Engineering, Integrated Technologies, Hairdressing, and Beauty/Make-up, giving students on site training by qualified teachers.

The courses will provide students with practical skills required by industries, and pathways to further studies in different areas they may chose.

All subject areas in the new centre have been equipped with industry standard equipment, providing students with necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their employment prospects on completion.

Educational Resource Centre (ERC)

The Educational Resource Centre (ERC) is a welcoming environment staffed by qualified, enthusiastic and caring staff.

The ERC is an important learning and social hub for the College.  It provides a wide range of resources, technologies and services to complement the varied curriculum and recreational needs of its users.  Staff and students have access to a wide range of online resources which can be accessed 24/7 at school or from home, for example World Book Online, Ebscohost and Clickview.

A key aim of the ERC is to develop and foster a love of reading.  This is achieved through reading programs and activities.  There is also a large, high-quality fiction and magazine collection to encourage recreational reading.
