1000 Paper Cranes Project
We started this paper cranes project when we were in year nine and are thrilled to see it finally complete. It has taken us many lunchtimes of sewing, laughter and chatter to see this piece of sentimentality complete, as these thousand cranes represent hope and faith.
Having been in a foreign language class these last few years, it was really exciting to see this opportunity given to us knowing that we are continuing a beautiful project that was started by several students back when we both were still in primary school. From the start of this journey we had no idea how to start or what to do but after discussing and planning, just like that, we have made 1000 lovely cranes which are to be hung in N001, together with a plaque to commemorate the project.
Even after year 12, we will always remember these fun and memorable times we created and hope this crane project will keep flourishing.
We would like to thank Ms. Carr, Mrs. Diaz and Mrs. Favrin for their support. We are really grateful for everything.
