As we complete another term of remote learning it has been fantastic to see how adaptive and resilient our staff and students have been.  While we will continue with remote learning for the first part of Term 4, I wanted to thank all the families for their hard work with their children and hopefully we can welcome them back to campus during Term 4.

Student Connection

The wellbeing teams at the Glenroy campus have tried new initiatives this term to make students feel connected to their class mates, this has involved such things as homeroom bingo and scavenger hunts. As a school we ae conscious about our students lacking that social interaction that comes with a normal school day. If all parents and care givers could please encourage their children to have their cameras on and engage during Microsoft Teams meetings this would be fantastic.

Remote Learning Catch Up Club

Just a reminder that during Term 4 we will still have our catch up clubs running remotely on Wednesday afternoons for any Year 7 and 8 students. from 3.00 to 3.30.  To access this students log onto the homework club page located on the co-curricular section of MyPenola, under clubs and societies and click on the Glenroy Homework club link (as seen below).  Students can then enter a Teams meeting link for the particular subject they need some assistance in.

Have well deserved break
