Moreland City Council are still running year 7 immunisations for Penola College, however due to COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to attend our scheduled visit to Penola College this term.

Instead, Moreland City Council are offering year 7 Penola College students, accompanied by a parent or guardian, the opportunity to book an appointment at Coburg Town Hall, 90 Bell St, Coburg.

The venue is very large and appointments allow for good physical distancing and cleaning to take place between students.

This special school immunisation session will ensure all students can commence their free year 7 vaccines.

Appointments will run on Monday 11 May 2020 2.30-5pm and can be made by clicking on this link: https://bit.ly/penola-college-year7

Appointments can be made whether you recall returning a year 7 consent card or not.

By doing this the year 7 students will be able to receive their second dose of vaccine in November when we are scheduled to visit the school again.

If you have previously consented to having the year 7 vaccine but have changed your mind please contact the Moreland City Council immunisation service at: sd-immunisation@moreland.vic.gov.au to discuss.

Unavailable Monday 11 May?

If Monday 11 May is not a suitable date for your family, please consider attending your GP or local council for these free year 7 vaccines, anytime from now.

The latest you could attend an appointment, with your doctor or local council, to be eligible to receive the second dose at our school visit in term 4 is Monday 11 May 2020.
